Cerritos Youth Group (Poiema) gathers every Friday night and Sunday morning to celebrate together and connect with God through activities, fellowship and challenging messages. This is a place where anyone (Yes, Anyone) can show up, feel comfortable, be themselves and get challenged to grow closer to Jesus. Our goal is simple: Being and making disciples by loving God and loving others.

Why Poiema?
This is a Greek word that comes from Ephesians 2:10, meaning we are God's handiwork, created with a purpose. We hope and pray that all our youth know they are unique in God's eyes and have a part in His great plan.

Meeting Times:

• Friday Night Fellowship @ 7:30 PM in DTC Chapel
• Sunday School Classes @ 10:00 AM in classrooms
  • ​7-9th grade  (D101) with Leonard/Beatrice 
  • 10-12th grade (D103) with Daniel
• Sunday Morning Worship @ 11:30 AM in DTC Chapel​​

• FRIDAY, JULY 31, 6:00PM-8:00PM - YOUTH BOWLING EVENT AT VALLEY VIEW BOWLING ALLEY (map)
  Come show off your bowling skills or cheer on your favorite bowler as we flex our arms to knock down some pins! Bring $15 to cover the cost of bowling and shoes. You are welcome to bring extra money to purchase snacks.

  Celebrate the end of the summer with food and games! We will meet at Don Knabe park to relax together as a group.
